If you missed the New England Patriots play yesterday afternoon and happened to look at the score in today's paper, 30-7, I'm sure your first thought was something along the lines of "Wow, the Pats opened up a can on that suspect defense of Minnesota." Or "Wow, looks like Brady and the boy's are back and the defense played well."
Well, One of those statements are correct. Take a look below and I'll give the indicator as to why they won...
The offense WILL come around and it will be a glorious thing. They really have to if they want to contend with the likes of Denver all season long and potentially a playoff match-up. The more Gronk gets his reps, Tim Wright learns the playbook, Dobson becomes that deep threat, Amendola shows his worth, and LaFell becomes more of a receiver, the better chance they have at making a run for the Lombardi Trophy. With a consistent running game, that will only help Brady's cause because it'll open up the field, open up play action passes and they will be able to expose other defenses. Let's not forget, it's only week two and they had a nice win in Minnesota. Give them a chance.
