Today's game is important for both teams but seems to weigh out more important for the Bears as they try to come back from a 27-14 loss to the Dolphins last week. It would also be a good win because the Bears haven't won against the Patriots in New England since 1979. Cutler has to make sure his offense is on point today and he lines up all his passes and hopes for completion because that's one thing Brady is good with. Cutler also needs to make sure the offense starts out strong and stays that way because their defense is a little weak and Belichick knows just how to work his defense to make the other offense even weaker and Brady is smart enough to push past a weak defense. The Bears can't afford any little mistakes or pass ups today because the patriots will find a way to move right past them.
Today is also important for the patriots because they beat the Jets last Thursday night just by the hairs of their chinny chin chins so today both teams will come out fighting. We all know one thing. Today will be a fight and it will be hard but that's what we're hoping for because those are the best games for the Patriots. The Patriots play their best under pressure and always seem to end up on top of a close win. Close wins are their specialty and it is mainly because of their defensive preparation by Belichick and their offensive poise by Brady.
According to the Chicago Tribune they admire Brady's finesse but are hoping its a blowout so Brady can't demonstrate a close win. They asked Ben Volin, who covers the patriots for the Boston Globe, some questions about the team. “The thing you really come to admire with Brady is his calm under duress,” Volin said. “Look at him in the 2-minute drill. His calm and the way he executes. Eight yards here, 12 yards there. He always makes the right decision and finds the open receiver. To beat the Patriots, you really have to whip them. Because if it’s close at the end, Brady has that poise, that experience and that wherewithal to get things done.”
There it is. Today the Patriots have to come out strong and stay out strong and not let their weaknesses show because the Bears are hungry and they're angry after their recent loss. Cutler will be looking for any way to make this team weak and lets hope Belichick is better at that than Cutler is. Good luck.
