Preseason games came to an end last week. The regular season starts tonight when the Green Bay Packers look to take on the Seattle Seahawks and the vaunted 12th man in Seattle. Injuries have been plentiful. Roster trimming has been in full force. The NFL season is well within reach. There has been plenty of promise as well as plenty of negative and the unexpected.
Well, the only negative really is that up here in New England, winter is right around the corner. But that's besides the point.
The NFL regular season begins next week and we're all excited. The reason to use the phrase "Any Given Sunday", will be upon us. Fantasy drafts galore. It's an amazing time of the year. There will be a little bit of everything this season. Plenty have team's improved on both sides of the ball, making most divisions around the league difficult to win, hands down. To me, there is absolutely nothing better then divisional opponents beating on each other in a tight division race (outside of our favorite teams, obviously).
In this two-piece series we are going to take a look at how the AFC and NFC pan out through the regular season, starting with our beloved AFC. (We can discuss playoff's another day). No need to show the record's. No need to go in depth. Let's not beat around the bush. Let's dive right in and I want your feedback, Madness friend's!
