After decommitting from Boston College in May after a coaching change Jeremy Miller reopened his recruitment. Nobody could predict what would happen next. Experts on recruiting website 24/7 sports had Miller going to ether Xavier or Florida. Miller who is the number two ranked power forward in the state of Massachusetts behind Aaron Falzon committed to hometown Northeastern today, according to Adam Finkelstein of New England Recruiting Report and ESPN.com. Northeastern was not on the radar for Miller according to all of the recruiting websites. Not even displaying that they had offered him a scholarship. Miller broke the news like most young athletes have been doing by using his twitter account.
Miller who is a 6'8" power forward will provide great options for Northeastern next season. He will most likely come in and start if all goes to plan, due to he is the highest ranked recruit the Huskies have had in quite some time. Miller's game is played down low in the post. He loves to stay with the big boys. His mid-range jumper has improved over the years and continues to get even better. With the addition of Miller, Northeastern has received commitments from two local guys over the past two weeks (Anthony Green being the other) who will try and make immediate impacts the day they step on campus.
